De KIVO Kempentrail 2023 is helaas geannuleerd ;-(

Helaas moeten we de Kivo Kempentrail 2023 - IFSS World Cup CANCELLEN.

De sledehondenwedstrijd gaat dit weekend niet door ivm de weersomstandigheden.

Het terrein is niet toegankelijk, er is teveel regen gevallen. We waren in de hoop dat het tussendoor nog een keer droog zou zijn, maar de voorspellingen blijven alleen maar regen en er is dus geen kans dat het droger wordt. Zie foto’s van het terrein en ook de trail. De trail is dusdanig nat dat het ook niet meer verantwoord is, maar het grootste probleem is dat we de stake out niet opkomen.

We vinden het heel vervelend, zeker omdat we graag samen met jullie een fantastich weekend wilden neerzetten, als laatste keer op deze locatie.

Iedereen die is ingeschreven krijgt de komende dagen een email met uitleg. Het inschrijfgeld zal netjes worden terug betaald. Geef ons even de tijd om dit te regelen.

BREAKING NEWS

Unfortunately, we have to CANCEL the KIvo Kempentrail 2023.

The sled dog race will not take place this weekend due to weather conditions. The site is not accessible, too much rain has fallen. We were hoping that it would be dry again in between, but the forecasts remain only rain and there is no chance that it will become drier. See photos of the site and also the trail. The trail is so wet that it is no longer safe, but the biggest problem is that we cannot reach the stake out.

We find it very annoying, especially because we wanted to have a fantastic weekend with you, the last time at this location.

Everyone who is registered will receive an email with an explanation in the coming days.

The registration fee will be promptly refunded. Please give us some time to arrange this.

Why is the competition called KIVO Kempentrail

The Kivo Kempentrail is so named because KIVO PETFOOD owner Cor van Loon has had a warm heart for the Sledehonden Sport Club Nederland since the competition was founded about 30 years ago. The Kivo Kempentrail has become a major concept in the sled dog world, partly due to the collaboration with Kivo Petfood.

Cor van Loon started working in the shed of his father-in-law Bert in the Schoolstraat in Veldhoven in 1986. In 1990 Cor van Loon took over Kivo Petfood and expanded it further. Kivo Petfood got more and more points of sale, even throughout the Benelux!

Today there is a bustling production center in a town near Eindhoven, where Grandpa Bert's grandchildren are at the helm. They often think back to their grandfather and never forget the craft and authenticity he put into the products. These two essential ingredients are always at the top of the recipe list. All products are still produced with a lot of knowledge about carnivores.

The range is extensive, but each product has the same mindset as that of their grandfather: honest and natural food without frills. Something that is unfortunately no longer so obvious these days. They are proud of this and are happy to share this with everyone who cares about dogs and cats.

We at the SSC-NL are also proud that we can carry the name Kivo Kempentrail and that the current owners Esmee and Rick van Loon still stand behind our club after all these years.
